Immaculate Order

The Wondrous Atlas crew look into the Immaculate Order, outlining its precepts, structure and origins, as well as its crusading sister organisation and practice, the Wyld Hunt. There is, of course, the requisite amount of conspiracy theories, which are actually directly relevant this time!

We’ve also just joined the D20 Radio network! Check out the other podcasts in the Network.

As part of that, we had a chat about Exalted and superhero fantasy on the Me & Steve Talk RPGs podcast.

One thought on “Immaculate Order

  1. Something I’m surprised you guys didn’t point out and have a good laugh over is how unsubtle Chejop Kejak is about seeing the Immaculate Order as his puppet. Not only is the head of the order called “The Mouth of Peace” i.e. “The Mouthpiece,” but in 2e Chejop Kejak, in his guise as her oddly forgettable head secretary, has his office directly above her own at the very peak of the Palace Sublime.

It’s one of those little fits of stupid hubris that Sidereals and ESPECIALLY Chejop are prone to, where they’ve clearly gotten way too used to leaning on Arcane Fate as a crutch to hide their scheming and aren’t being NEARLY as clever with it as they’re capable of being, just because they’ve gotten ridiculously complacent and smug. Which of course makes their desperate scrambling to handle the return of the Solar Exalted and all the problems accompanying it all the more satisfying.
